The 2nd edition of the AI Transformation in Internal Audit Masterclass addresses the growing importance of AI technology in the audit function. As highlighted by the Risk in Focus 2025 survey from the Institute of Internal Auditors, 33% of Chief Audit Executives across Europe now consider AI a top-5 risk, reflecting its potential impact on the field.
Despite this recognition, many internal audit teams have yet to fully integrate generative AI technologies into their processes. This course aims to bridge that gap, providing both theoretical knowledge and practical experience with AI tools that are reshaping audit methodologies.
Participants will learn to apply AI in key areas such as risk assessment, fraud detection, and compliance monitoring. The course demonstrates how generative AI can serve as a capacity multiplier, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of audit processes.
Beyond technical skills, the masterclass focuses on strategic implementation. It equips audit professionals to guide their organizations through AI-related risks and compliance issues, positioning internal audit as a crucial partner in technological innovation.
By the conclusion of this course, attendees will be prepared to lead the integration of AI into their audit processes, delivering enhanced value to their organizations and adapting effectively to the evolving technological landscape in internal audit.
